Boudoir photoshoot Cheshire
This is the third time that I’ve photographed Natasha. The first time her Mum bought her a shoot as a birthday present and the second time Natasha wanted some headshots for her new business. See if you can spot her click here.
Then she contacted me to book in for a boudoir photoshoot. Oh my actual days I was excited. Excited because Natasha was doing this for herself. Not for a husband, boyfriend, wife or partner but for herself.
Doing it for yourself!
Generally when people approach me about a boudoir photoshoot it’s a present for someone else. A surprise for their husband to be or as an anniversary/birthday gift. Who says we have to do it for someone else? It’s almost like we need someone’s permission, an excuse to do something that we’ve secretly always wanted to do. How about we do it just because! Just because we want to celebrate ourselves for a change. Believe me you’ll want to shout it from the rooftops when you take the plunge. It’ll be the best decision that you never thought you’d make. You deserve this!
This is who you are right now. There’s no need to keep putting this off into that box of things I’d love to do but may do when I’ve ________(fill in the blank) As a woman our bodies are constantly changing and evolving. The pressure to have that thin teenage body image shoved down our throats by social media posts does nothing for anyone’s self esteem. We all have hang ups even the supermodels! Bodies change with hormones, childbirth, age, and a whole heap of environmental stresses. This is normal and as it should be. Celebrate who you are now. Most of my ladies show more on the beach on holiday than they do in the shoot. It’s all in the suggestion, conveying the feeling.
Find your inner Sass!
Whether it’s still there or hiding under a bushel (whatever one of those are!!) I’ll coax it out guaranteed. You don’t have to practise any posing just some stretching because you’ll be doing plenty of that!!
